Mary Pauline Soltis was born October 5, 1893 in Clarence, Pennsylvania. She married John Paul Koshko in Clarence on July 29, 1917. Mary died on June 23, 1957 at age 63 in Clarence, apparently having remained there her entire life. All nine of her children were born there.

Mary and John's children were Mary, John, Rose, Ed, Walt, Walter Joseph, Helen, Margaret, and Martha. Two of the children died as babies. Two were given Walter as their first names. This information is drawn from the "Koshko family tree" being circulated on paper.
