Michael (Mike) Koshko was born August 23, 1894 in Jessup, Pennsylvania. He married Katherine Sapula in Clarence, Pennsylvania on April 27, 1920. He died December 16, 1954 in Clarence at age 60.

Mike was the second child of Andrew Koszkowski and Julia Radiak. Mike and Katherine produced three children: Margaret, Robert, and Frank.

Jim Koshko in Thomasville, PA informs us that Mike was blind in one eye. A close look at his photo shows one eye pointed away from the other. Jim says, "It is felt that Mike always favored his right side in a photo because of his misaligned left eye. Most all photos of him show mainly his right side." Anyone who can tell whether Mike was born with this condition or developed it later, please do. For what it's worth, Julia Koszkowski also had a turned-out eye which can be seen in a family photograph taken circa 1904.
